Paul Courtney has been a leader in the Defense Community for more than 20 years. Mr. Courtney led SM Consulting’s federal services from ‘96-‘08 and grew it from startup to over 500 employees and $80M annual revenue. In 2008 SMC sold to SAIC and as VP, Mr. Courtney oversaw a $130M Defense and Intel portfolio. He established The Buffalo Group in 2010 and led its growth from startup to over 1,000 employees and $200M in revenue. In 2021 TBG sold to Jacobs International and as a VP of Jacobs, Mr. Courtney oversaw a $200M portfolio.

Paul O’Brien is an Executive Vice President at Bison Group. Mr. O’Brien leads Talent Acquisition and forges company teaming relationships within the defense sector. With 20+ years of experience working with the US Military and the Intel Community, he has been a trusted advisor to thousands of cleared professionals and built long-term company partnerships. Previously Mr. O’Brien was a Director at Jacobs and The Buffalo Group, and a leader at BAE. Paul is a graduate of JMU.

Meagan Watson is an Executive Vice President at The Bison Group, responsible for Strategic Capture and Proposal Development. With over 12 years of proposal experience, Meagan has led/co-led IDIQ wins valued at more than $55B, as well as contract wins exceeding $1.65B since 2017. Meagan was a key leader at The Buffalo Group, developing their company proposal process and assisting in a decade of profound organic growth, resulting in the successful sale and transition to Jacobs.

Suzanne Lang is the VP of HR at Bison Group. Ms. Lang is a dedicated HR professional with more than 20 years of HR management experience working for fast paced, high-growth companies serving U.S. government customers. She is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of the company’s HR strategic direction and initiatives including total rewards, employee experience, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Ms. Lang is certified as a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SCP).
